Gold, Silver, Bronze, Pro, Comp, Original: How to Read a CUORE Product Name

Published September 2026

Every CUORE product name answers two separate questions: how a product fits, and what you need it to do or how much you want to pay for. Most of the confusion we hear from teams comes from reading those as one scale instead of two.

Gold, Silver, Bronze: Three Product Tiers. One Quality Standard.

With Gold, Silver and Bronze, you can choose from three product tiers designed for different needs and budgets. The difference lies in the materials, construction and finishing details – not in our commitment to quality. What changes is the material and feature package, so riders can choose what best suits how they ride.

Gold
The best we make: our finest materials, most advanced construction and highest level of technical detail. Pure performance. These products are developed for riders who want the lightest weight, highest stretch, and most refined technical performance.

Silver
The perfect balance of performance and value: premium materials, thoughtful construction and key performance features. We use lightweight, premium performance fabrics built for comfort and versatility.

Bronze
Reliable performance at an attractive price: proven materials and thoughtful construction – with the same commitment to quality and function. Our entry level products use dependable performance fabrics for everyday riding. It's also a common tier for teams building a full roster on a defined budget.

Good to know: Every product tier is available in different fits, from a race-focused fit to a more relaxed jersey fit.

Fit: how it sits on your body

Pro, Comp, Original, and Loose describe fit, and the same definitions apply no matter which tier you're looking at.

Pro
Our most race-focused fit, developed for athletes who demand maximum performance. Made with 4-way stretch fabrics throughout for a skin-tight, aerodynamic fit.

Comp
Designed for the athletic rider who wants a balance of performance and comfort. The Comp Fit combines 4-way and 2-way stretch fabrics for a snug, supportive fit. Ideal for sport-minded riders, from experienced athletes to fit and active newcomers.

Original
Designed with a more relaxed fit for riders who value comfort and need or prefer additional room through the jersey for more freedom of movement. Our Original Fit as a classic cut is a comfortable choice for everyday riding — not just for beginners.

Loose
Our loosest fit — designed for Downhil MTB, all mountain, and running where freedom of movement comes first. Extra room in all right places for a wide range of body types and sport styles.

Putting the two together

It’s super easy and makes choosing a kit simpler: first choose the fit based on how close to the body you want the jersey to sit, then pick the tier that matches your budget and how technical you want a product to be.

*An updated Gold Comp Jersey is on the way, built to the same fit standard as the rest of the line.

This chart covers jerseys, where fit makes the most visible difference. Bibs, vests, and other pieces follow the same tier naming, but not every category carries a meaningful fit split the way jerseys do. Some fits also won't exist in every tier.

We got you covered: As a team, you don’t need to settle on one fit for every rider. Where available, riders can choose different fits within the same tier: for example, Silver Pro for a close, race-oriented fit and Silver Comp for a fitted athletic cut with more ease. Same tier, two fit options – and we combine the number of jerseys you order to get you to a better price tier.

If you're sorting out which tier and fit make sense for your team, start a custom kit inquiry and we'll walk through it with you.
